Zumaquero Wines

We make wine in Spain’s Bierzo Designation of Origin, using fruit from old vines and producing an exceptionally limited to less than 400 bottles per year. We work primarily with Mencía, Bierzo’s signature red grape, to craft wines that are exclusive, authentic, and full of character.

Our wines are made at 13 Viñas winery, where every step of the winemaking process is handled with meticulous care to preserve the fruit’s quality, the grape’s distinctive personality, and the true expression of the vineyard.

We don’t strive for volume. We strive for distinction: one bottle for every day of the year, created for wine lovers who appreciate wines that are genuinely unique.
